Ln. P.T. Kumar born on 30th August 1953 at Visakhapatnam to Smt, Vijaya Laxmi and Sir. Sreerama Murty. He completed his Graduation from Mrs. AVN College, Visakhapatnam and PGDBM from Delhi. Represented Andhra University Basket Ball Team. Represented Smt. AVN College in Cricket, Hokey, Shuttle Badminton and Basket Ball. After having worked for 25yrs in leading Pharma Company Wyeth Laboratories, resigned and started his educational Institutions.

Joined Lionistic moment during his College Days as Leo Member in 1973. In 1979 he became a Lion member. Served the Club in all capacities and was the President of Lions Club of Vizianagaram Cantonment in the year 1985-1986, as a President he conducted a Major Super Specialty Medical camp which has inaugurated by the then Governor of Andhra Pradesh Kumari KUMUDBEN JOSHI, Served the combined district 324 C1 as District Cabinet Secretary during 1989- 1990. ZC, 1990-1991. RC 2000-2001. Served the District Cabinet number of years as District Chairperson. Recipient of number of District level, Multiple District and International awards. He received 6 International President Appreciation Certificates. Two International Leadership Medals, 2 International President Medals and founder membership growth award. Received 6 Club Extension Awards. Attended number of Multiple Leadership Training Programs. He is a Free Mason from last 30 yrs. Life member of Indian Red Cross Society, Premasamajam, INTACH, Mother Teresa Club and Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. Founder Selector Vizianagaram Dist Cricket Association. Adjudged Twice as Best Horticulture in Banana Farmer of Vizianagaram District. He played major role in getting 380 Sq. Yards site from VUDA to our Cancer Hospital at Seethammadhara Visakhapatnam.

He is happily married to Lion. Dr. Lakshmi Ph.D, Ex EC Member Andhra University. Blessed with Two sons. Lion Vineel B. Tech, Lion Vivekananda MCA, Eldest Daughter-In-Law Lion Sujana Jyothi M.Tech, Youngest Daughter In-Law Jyothirmai MBA. His grandson Yojit Aditya. Lion P.T.KUMAR MJF was elected as 1st Vice District Governor of District 324 C1 for the Lionistic year 2011-2012.
